Hong Kong 1967 Leftist riots were a series of large-scale leftist riots under the effect of the Cultural Revolution. At the beginning, there were just strike actions and demonstrations. Later they grew into large-scale demonstrations against British colonial rule. The riots became more violent when the leftists set off bombs in the city.
